1970 Holmes needs a home
« on: September 17, 2007, 01:44:53 PM »
Ok here it is. The project went south and i need it out of my yard!  The woman i live with is freaking out, TOO MANY BOATS she say's. Here's some pics  but it wont be on the tandem trailer. It will be on a single axle trailer that has no papers :o  If anyone is interested let me know. We are talking Cheap here ;D

First i have to switch trailers like i said it will be on the trailer that the fantasy is on. I think i will have Rocks crane come over and swap the boats. Its freaking expensive but i think its the best way to go. The boat has papers.

This is a big project and i dont expect it to move soon, so i am basically selling the trailer, whatever you do with the boat is your problem.

empty hulls aren't heavy to move if you have some help....get 82daytona, pw, jim, any neighbors, friends, etc to help you out and buy 'em a case of beer for their help. it will be cheaper then a crane.

I moved a heavily laid up 16' hull off of the trailer, flipped it, and laid it upside down on a dolly i made....with only 5 people.

Man im just tired of raking my brain on how to swap these boats, the Holmes is a heavy some beach ;D
Im thinking a cherry picker and just drive it out and drop it on the ground but its got one of those skags or whatever you call it, i was even thinking about cutting it up. Point blank it needs to go. Im tired of getting yelled at :o
