!932 Ford pick up (steel), Rogers Bonneville, OH wait, you said "one of the only"...   ;D

You have a deuce pick up? very cool. I have a 38 tudor standard that I've had in storage since 1981, one of the straightest and rust free bodies I've ever seen. It was my dads, but he did very little to it except for tear it down to the bare body and buy extra front and rear fenders for it...just in case. I bought him some pete and jake engine/trans mounts back when they were still owned by P&J and we put a 327 in it that my dad bought brand new in 1964. He got burnt out on the deal in the late 70's and gave it to me, he was more into A's anyway, I've been keeping it for our son. So far he's a baseball nut, still playing at 20, and not too much of a gearhead. That's alright though, it's there if he ever wants it.
I took the flatty out of the 38 and stuck it in a 28 roadster pu I was building, kinda 40's styly. Highboy, Kelsey hayes, chopped windshield and so on. It was coming along nicely until I got hurt and had to sell it off, that was back in the mid 90's. Have a '41 Buick now that's stone stock. My friend bought it, had it 10 years and only put 200 miles on it. He bought it from an estate sale of a Dr. out in the high desert that had his own car museum. The car still has under 15,000 original miles on it. I had asked him to give me first chance to buy it and he did. I had to sell my steel t touring, also done 30/40s style and all my flathead speed parts to get it, but it's really nice. (well, nice to me anyway. it's no show queen and has it's share of scratchs and such) Now with our oldest daughter going away to college next year, I might sell it to raise a few bucks.
Here's a pic. I know where a 31 wide bed pick up is that I might try to buy if I do sell the buford. Got to have something to mess with.
I'll send you my address and thanks for the id plate.  :) Oh, what shape is your '32 in. Never had a 32 and probably never will. lol

NICE!

I bought the '32 literaly piece by piece off of eBay. It has a long way to go. '32 steel cab, '33 split wishbones, '34 front axle and spring, '49 F-1 steering box, '48 juice brakes, '85 302 Ford and AOD, '29 bed, handbuilt frame by myself and marcsrollin, '64 1/2 Mustang 8" rear, P & J ladder bars, afu shocks with ? add-a-coils ?, fiberglass 4" chop radiator shell, '66 Mustang radiator, aftermarket steel firewall, uhmmm...

In '79 my dad bought a 1956 Bel Air 2 door hard top, factory A/C and power window car, saginaw 4 speed with a 265 (!) V8, he and I spent three years on that car, almost the only time he and I spent together it seems, he gave me the car in '94, I had to sell it in '03 (divorce). I cryed like a baby in front of my friends when that car left my driveway. I had to promise to give it to my son before my dad would give it to me, which I did. Attorney's suk, divorce suks, and bitches suk.

I'll mail you that tag no problem.
