1973 Tahiti Tiger $2000
« on: August 26, 2010, 12:21:29 PM »
1973 Tahiti Tiger jet boat, blue & white, Fresh Berkeley J-B pump with A impeller, 475HP 455 olds Edelbrock intake & carb, Isky mega cam, ok interior. Single axle trailer. Boat has all receipts and records since new. I am third owner, this boat rides very nice and you won't find a nicer RUNNING boat for less. I only want to sell so I can buy an Eliminator this weekend. I will post pics when I get home... took it out two weeks ago. Call Philo @ 928-201-6952

Thx.

According to the paperwork it's over 10:1 with forged pistons, balanced rotating assembly, and some other retarded high rpm stuff it will never see. The dyno sheet says it had open headers and a different carb to make that power. I didn't build the motor and I don't think it has oil restrictors and proper oiling to do that. Still a good deal though.

Sorry about the price part... I though I typed that. $2000

Paperwork lists boat as 72 but Cheetah installed the Berkeley in 73. Trailer is a A & M Custom, engine was made by Guardian Marine, Pump is a 12JB-A-H and I have the warranty card. Not that it's still under warranty, haha. I didn't get home in time or I would have posted actual pics of the boat... tomorrow morning now.

Cover comes with the boat.

Boat needs carpet and there is a soft spot in the rear corner in this picture.

I think it is, I want a quick sale so I can go buy that Eliminator. I've been trying to get a hold of the that thing for years now.

Back up for sale. Reduced to $1500 due to it needing a freeze plug behind the motor plate now. Guy who bought it decided the gate valve needed to be completely open twice. First time I put new head gaskets and intake gasket set on it. Second time the freeze plug went away. You can hear it run, starts every time.

Willing to part this out.

$600 for the pump.
$600 for engine minus exhaust, mounts, and carb.
$800 for engine with exhaust, mounts, and carb.

After those sell I would be willing to sell the following stuff:

Edelbrock 600 CFM marine carb. $80
Engine mounts (4 point) $80
Exhaust logs and snails $80
Hull with interior $300
Hull without interior $200
Trailer $300
Interior $200
Bow aluminum fuel tank $80
