A Kona jet boat
« on: March 03, 2009, 10:13:33 AM »
I'm guessing anyways, there are no numbers on the back.
The 454 is also included.
Everything looks to be in real good shape.
Berk Jet-O-Jator
JC pump
Looks like an easy way to get on the water this season.
Greg - specrta 81 is the guy with access to the boat and all info
$2000

Doesn't look like my Rebel, Omar. But mine's a 78, maybe chenged? I dunno. FRom first glance looks close to, but not, a Saguaro.

Mine used to have similar "hockey stick", or 340 mopar stripes. You can see the outline on a rather poor prep before tme Moo paint. But mine does not have the "Lip" going around the passenger compartment. What struck me was the back of it having the lip.

I know, Ain't it cool?  ;D when it even gets redone, if, I'm going to paint it exactly the same. But the right way this time. >:D

Honestly, don't know what that boat is Omar. Hondo or Hallett. Looks to be a full stringer boat from what I can tell, so that eliminates the cheapies anyway.

Looks like the bottoms are the same, maybe just a different deck? Scrolling back and forth between the pics, the strakes and the depth of the hulls look similar.

I think Kona's were shallower than those and the radius at the transom was more even, like a shallow C.

I really have no idea what I'm talkin' about :banghead: BUT it looks like my first boat which was a Tahiti and also....the gas tank under the bow....wouldnt that suggest it would be about mid 70's?

Just saw this thread. The lip around the back, and pretty much everything else (except the full stringer part) looks just like Bebo's boat we think is a Hondo. I just went outside with him and he agreed that they look extremely similar.
