The Bahner's are very well made and had good designs, all of the ones I have owned (3) had full stringers, good gelcoat, and put together quite well, it was the buisness side of Bahner that was always weak IMO could have been one of the top boats of its time, but was never really marketed properly as far as being well known, the Kona on the other hand had awsome buisness people behind them and their products seem to run from entry level to pretty extreme, you never knew what you had with a Kona, I've seen full stringer high quality race ready hulls and basic quarter stringer family lake craft built to last 10 or so years, so there's my .02c..
