Look into GS Marine laying one up for you. They have the 19 Daytona, 19 TPR, and one of the Gullwing molds. That'll make the most of your motor.

If you are interested in a winger, Nick here has an immaculate one already set up for a Ford.

Tom at performance jet boat has them. It's easy to do. You can also contact madskillzfab. He can make them for you.

That southwind  would be nice. I got in contact with the original onwner. He said it did 106 with 850 hp . Has a (AA) STAINLESS in it. I'm not to worried about rigging it , I am a Machinst by trade and also have a mill and a lathe at home so it wouldn't be to bad to make it work. Thank you for the post. It is certainly a possibility

Rogers Dragstar

I just posted a Rogers Dragstar on this site.  Arguably a tunnel.  Some say it is a Hondo runner bottom with a Rogers top side.

Have made up my mind and would like to take on a daytona  project . I am not looking for a new boat. I have restored many cars and motorcycles, but would like to restore a daytona type boat. Must be a jet.

I would like to try and spend some where around 6000  and as long as the hull is in decent shape and it has a pump..  would mind if it need paint or gel , if it needs interior no problem.. I would like to take my time with it.

oooh... Hate to say it, but you might be looking for a long time.  Not many out there, even in poor shape, for that price point.

Check this Tunnel Dragster out.  It looks real nice.  I bet he's got 6K in the pump alone, MPD, stainless, etc.  It's even tempting me and its all your fault! :):banghead:

This is probably as close as you're going to get. That being said, this one probably needs a bunch of work...

Waiting for the tax return then I'll make my move. Drove a cp to 103.2 last weekend,  so that got me wanting to get a new hull.
