Older Sanger comp jet project
« on: May 26, 2008, 06:47:37 PM »
OK so here's the deal, I needed to get a two piece bowl, droop snoot, and a stainless impeller for my 19' Brad Hall jet. What I ended up with is these parts plus a bitchen little 1977 17' Sanger Superjet that was being set up to go "roundy rounds", It has rail mounted everything, two cable "pull-pull" steering and some of the prettiest anodizing I've ever seen. It is set up with a ride plate, two mechanical cav. plates with an override pedal, extended steering shaft, big block Chevy motor plates, two stainless steel fuel tanks and almost everything is there. I'm forgetting tons  :oI'm sure....

The boats name was UFOII and dorn's the number 177, its also on a very nice but weathered tandem axle trailer, I don't want to see this boat parted out, but don't know what I can do with it. Anyone out there even remotely interested? You can E-mail me at gth316@aol.com :o  By the way I have a title for both...

Make me a crazy offer (hate to see it go to waste).

very cool boat. I hope maybe some of the old timers can chime in with any history they know about this boat!

How much are you looking to get for it?

Thanks very much. Not trying to get rich off of it, just couldn't see parting it out. If I take the pump and nozzle out of it the rest can go for $1000 or best offer, there has to be that in just the aluminum parts alone, I could sell with the pump and everything but I would be back where I started. Let me know if I'm on budget KRAK!

Just so you all know, there are some missing components after taking a closer inventory of what was actually there. The left side cav. plate links are AWOL, still searching though, the flywheel cover I think went with the 427", and the old Moon mechanical tach. was "claimed", but the cable remains and still turns free, I do still have some "retro" Moroso gold anodized BBC valve covers in perfect shape, then there is the caper of the 10# box of missing stainless allens that were there, then they weren't. Don't know what they were needed for, maybe NASA needed them  ::). There is also some random damaged areas in the balsa floor that look innocent enough, they will need to be addressed.

Well at least someone is using their head around here.  :banghead:  At least this way you can post up a thread of your progress after it's done, that way you don't end up with a 27 page project thread that really hasn't changed all that much in the 27 pages.  :screwy:
