That said Caliber 1.
Are you talking about the Rogers Dragster without motor for 1800.00. If so it sounds like a good deal. Been watching it for a week now. Nice boat if you want to go straight.

I suspect you meant this one. It has been for sale up here for a quite some time.

Seen it twice, once with the bow half full of water..It's a nice piece, but I don't know about the bottom, as long as you had the patience it could be cool....BTW its 20 min. from me.

I think I took some pics of it, can't find em...I will be going by it again on Thurs. if anyone has questions....

Just curious of the over all condition! The pics are from so far away , the boat could be a pile and you wouldent be able to tell till you drove hours to get there.

And of course the usual , stringers , pump condition (if known) , transome and floor.

The guy doesn't have the titles to either the boat or trailer.  Said all he got from the previous owner was bill of sales .  I considered buying the Dragstar but something didn't seem right there.  And I didn't want to fool around with trying to get titles to the stuff

I've been by twice to look at it and the dude is never there, I have seen it before (a couple months ago) the boat is a solid 6 out of ten, not the best rig I've ever seen, needs to be redone. There are some good parts.

I would not pay $1800 for it, but I'm a cheap azz..... :-[

To me, I would say $1200-$1500 would be fair...The title thing is easily solved unless there are liens...

I am considering buying this one for parts, but the guy can't really answer my questions and since I am 900 miles away, I ain't going that far to look.  My parents that live in NorCal are going to head over to look at it for me, but can't make it there until 2 weekends from now.  As long as it's been for sale now, I'm thinking that it isn't worth anywhere near what he wants for it, but I am getting ready to start a Winter Project and if there are parts on it that I can use it may be worth my while.....We'll see

Someone bought this boat, took it down to SoCal, and reposted it on CL again for a bit more.  I'm out...too far for me and too much $$ now
