Wood deck Hurricane v-drive hull
« on: May 27, 2010, 08:26:53 AM »
Well,
I tried to get the wife to keep this one, but she likes the other one better...

SO..its for trade..
I rather trade then sell, unless you have nothing to trade and want it.
Needs wood work deck and other/ some soft spots on floor
Talked to a few more knowledgeable on the boards and feel it is about 1968-72 year.
Started a thread on it in the v-drive section(thought we would keep it)
No pink, just bill of sale...

Will trade completely rigged(no motor) or bare hull... set up for small block
great way to get a wood deck, I am just looking for big block and small block chevy stuff.

Kinda bummed as I wanted this one, but I am out of room...

Tom,
Hey thanks for that info..
Never knew about the memorial.. Kinda cool now that I have the boat.
Yea, kinda bummed because I wanted this one.
I know I wont't "find" another, like I did this one.
I have 5 boats and only one is about ready to run.
I have 2 in storage, one in my garage(the sanger) and one at a buddies and this one in front of my house(I am waiting for a notice to move it)
Just no more room.
So something has to change.

But did get a call on my barge even though it is not listed for sale.
They may be flying down from Portland to look at it?
Hell, I will sell anything if the price is right....

Beav...

I am looking for a big block stuff for my runnerbottom,
I am looking for a complete hi-po small block for my wifes Howard flatty.
Plus other stuff that you may have...
Just pm me as right know I got to do something with it.
If I find a home for it, I will hold on to it and build it myself.

Again this is the hull rigged or stripped it is up to you.
(I am keeping the old trailer)

I tested a Bob Warren Hull for a friend of mine.in the sixtys. As I remember it was a 17 footer with a 427 Ford. It was a fast, great handling, turned as I remember 112 MPH on the test.

I am really blessed and always wanted a fun big boat.
Got lucky and ran across this one.
I have been buying and selling with a little horse trading, all to get this beast back in the water.
Once it is done, then I want to get the runner bottom done as a tribute to a few old friends that I used to hang out with and help with thier race boat.
Finally I would like to find another shovel nose jet hydro to finish off my boats...

Wait a minute...
My wife wants a 40'+ sailboat... OK that should do it..
