1975 challenger build
« on: March 08, 2018, 10:51:21 PM »
I just picked up a 1975 challenger with a ford 460. Plans are to re paint part of boat, paint and repair trailer, build brand new seats ( 2 buckets and a bench) new carpet and some motor upgrades.

Looking good! Did you use regular car paint or is that gel coat? I’m currently restoring my float aswell.

Want to see what it takes to paint it my self

Almost finished with the seats. Anyone have any tips and tricks for gussets and braces that will make it easier for the upholstery guys to foam and cover them?

Did you copy the wood from your old seats?

What did you use to spray the paint and what thinner did you use?  I need to repaint mine and I’m looking for tips.  Yours turned out great.
