Hey everyone I picked up my buddies Sanger today to help him get it going for the summer. We are going to be doing exterior, interior & motor. It has a Berkley Split Bowl and the boat is super sound structurally.
The idiot who owned the boat before ripped out the bow hook and instead of taking all the foam out of the bow to replace the hook, he cut on top of the bow and took the capped section out and replaced the hook and tried to patch it back up, but because he didn't glass the bottom of the cut piece when he put it back together it just keeps cracking the paint on the surface. Needless to say it's ugly so we are going to be removing all the foam and fixing it correctly.
Looking for some advice on whether to do a 2 stage base/clear or to attempt to roll n tip Flow Coat.
I recently restored my boat doing subfloor,paint,interior and built a new motor, so I'm pretty confident in doing this but still love any and all advice.
