We have a friend who has the exact same hull and with motor and nitrious he's hittin 127mph!!! He also owns a California Performance Gul Wing ,, and with the same motor the crusader is a faster boat!!

Oh Yeah , Those spots on the bow is overspray where someone spraypainted small parts on the bow of the boat. ( I would have killed someone )

Today, my friend and marcsrollin came over. They flipped the boat over, on the dirt, and then our friend buffed and waxed the bottom and sides of the hull. Flipped it back over and placed it on the trailer.

Yeah, the bottom really does look as good as the picture! The only thing the picture doesn't show is all the scratches down the very bottom of the hull from beaching the boat, there's a lot of them. They aren't going to show in the water! I'm pretty confident the top is going to look just as good.

marcsrollin kept on rambling about the scratches but he's just jealous! ( Hi Marc   ;D )

Today my friend removed the stringers. They peeled off the hull, barely attached at all. IN one of the pics you can see what happens to a stringer and a bolt is run through it and it's not properly sealed with sea going epoxy (Hi Jim!). You can also see the gas tanks he's not going to use, one of the tanks he is going to use, and a large "layer" of unstuc fiberglass. Those stringers had to have been replaced (improperly) before.

This boat is back on the market with a lot of work done to it. He decided to go flat bottom v-drive instead. The new price is $4000 but if you look at the before and after pic's you'll understand. It also comes with a BBC engine mount rail kit , Steering , And there is a set of mismatched gauges to help you get started. The stringers were replaced by Ultra Boats down the street my house. The pump is a Berkley with a split bowl , droop ,place diverter w/fine tunning nozzel and a AB cut impeller. It is also sitting on a tandem Axel trailer with bearing buddies all the way around.

At Martinez, there was a Crusader drag tunnel and a CP Gull Wing with pretty much the same high $ stuff and the Crusader drag tunnel was a faster drag boat. High 120's. The only way the CP Gull Wing would win is when they drank first.   :D
