family eliminator
« on: July 18, 2016, 12:18:16 AM »
my dad had this 1983 eliminator through his childhood and all through his college waterski team years, it got sold from the family a while back. my dad decided for my 18th birthday to hunt it down and buy it for me, best present ever. when it was found it was in a bit rougher condition than we remember but in the last couple months weve put plenty of blood sweet and tears into it

taking the boat off the trailer super sketchy!!
sanding and painting the trailer in our homemade booth then recreated the stripes and redid all the births with carpeting and redid all the lights and wiring

I have to say trailer looks great for a jery rig. I bet if you had extra time and the space. You could make some extra money painting a trailer or two. You have helped me out just seeing your pics. Thanks Andrew

jack the boat up in the rear and slide it off a little then we built wooden supports under the rear section of the boat. ratchet strap to the trailer and to the boat and ratcheted the trailer out from under the boat then jacked it up and built some more wooden supports. sounds complicated but pretty simple if you take your time!

I have seen guys stack bags of sand or manure or anything else with a tough bag that conforms slightly to the hull. A lot of weight to move around and a bunch of sand or $h!t kicking around after your done! But surprisingly makes a pretty steady foundation under the boat that you know won't fall over! Then just spread the crap around your yard when your done! LOL
