When I got my 77 tahiti a few months ago it seemed like i was always having trouble with the fuel, i.e running out of gas (it had no fuel gauge) dirt in the tanks, sucking air from an empty tank and staling, leaking from the sending unit, leaking from the cap! So I said F it!!! Pulled the tanks soaked them in aircraft remover, steam cleaned them. Put new autometer sending units n gauges new seals on caps and shut off valves to each tank!!!!! Time for a 12pk.
