Shoot, I'd say round up the locals but in Bullhead, you'd have to worry about the crackheads knowing what you had ... glad you're 20 miles out.

There used to be a thread on Hot Boat about dual cherry pickers and flipping a boat. I would ask on the other site in just jets (performanceboats.com) ... I think squirtcha? (his screen name) had the information on it ... I'll start a thread over there for you and ask.

No I don't ... just have had bad experiences in the Bullhead area, that's all. I do have some friends who live out there, and meant no harm, it was all kidding around.

I did start a thread on the other site with good results for you though, here's a link:

good luck with your project,

Im not totally sure what a day cruiser is, but when I flipped my 18 foot bahner, I had like 5 people here, and it wasnt hard at all, but then again thats because I took the engine out. Be VERY weary of what sticks up the most on the top, in my case it was the steering wheel which I had to remove so it wouldnt break when the boats weight rested on it.

Well a 21' Daycrusier is a bit bigger & heavier than a 18' Bahner ... here's what a Daycruiser usually looks like:

Hmmm, that's a big boat to flip by cherry picker. I agree with everyone and say your best bet is to empty it out and use some old tires to cushion things and a whole bunch of bigboys.  Beer will certainly help draw them in.  Good luck and make sure you take some pictures.

By the way, why are you wanting to flip it?  I might be tempted to try to do your work with it right side up. More uncomfortable but might be worth a try

I need to do some repair and paint the bottom then flip again and paint the deck install motor and interior . I havn't decided on colors yet i keep thinking black and remembering how hot it looks 'but how hot it gets' so not sure boats are mostly white for a reason around here                                                                                                       .                                        dave

We have a Sanger mini just like ryanbrindle's (even the same color combination) that we flipped with 2 cherry pickers and 3 people. I've flipped 18' hulls by myself with the cherry pickers, but I was surprised how much heavier and how much wider the cruiser was and how much higher we had to jack it into the air. It was kind of scary seeing it hanging that high up in the air, and it took alot more force to get it to turn.
