GlassCutter, let the man build the boat the way he feels it will suit his needs and maintain some originality.  Different strokes for different folks. 
I still have the original rear jump seats in my Hallett and I love the look and so does Nick Barron.  Nick has seen my Hallett in person and loves the engine cover modification and loves the fact that that I for the most part kept some originality in the boat.
If Greg (GS Marine) put his stamp of approval on the stringer work that Zack did, that is good enough for me.

FAMILY TRADITION did you take the boat off the trailer to do the stringers?  what did you use to do so?  did you build a dolly once you removed the trailer?  I just found my new project going in this direction so I'm looking for detail on replacing the stringers.

Yes I took boat off the trailer. Used large a frame with electric hoist. I built padded deals for rear of boat and up front to sit on. It sat a couple inches off the ground. If your going a spectra 20 you can use those to sit yours on. I'm in bellflower if you would like to borrow them.

I'm working on a Hallett 21' cruiser so I think the shape is a bit different.  Do you have pics of this dolly?

I was just asking an honest question as I might be doing the interior in the future exactly like his layout wise.  But your right, subjects are for chicks.  And you should see the look on their faces when they see the queen size bed and disco ball hanging below the faux fur covered ceiling.  So yeah, a sundecks for the ladies works great for me and my wife's friends.
And I gotta agree that Eddie's guys do a great job.  This Spectra is really looking sharp.
