That's the 43c cable clamp I was referring to previously. The end of the cable normally is bolted thru the transom cover. There is a better way to do this, to prevent future cable breaks. And it also provides better up and down motion.
Contact me if you'd like me to explain over the phone... Way to much, and too complicated to describe typing.

Your picture does not show that same clamp for the cable... Not the spring retainer with one single bolt on it. Look at his picture again, it's the clamp with the two Allen bolts holding it down.
I can't tell you to buy the same cable since I have no idea what you have. The correct cable does not have threaded sleeves on it (43c).
Also, to make it work without breaking again, you will need additional parts.

Finally got a chance to pull apart the rigged tubing the po had put on to keep the jet straight. Starting to see how this thing works when hooked up. Still unclear on where the cables hooks up to. Anybody have pictures of how there's is set up ?

Also I was looking at my bowl and it looks like someone has already turned the bowl. Is this how it's supposed to be turned to fit a pd ?

No on a pd the bowl stays in its normal spot. On jet o vator it rotates so yours is already rotated

Well picked up a new 43c cable from Rex marine and put it on today. It took a while to get it adjusted right but I think I got it good now. I noticed that when the arm connects to the nozzle it doesn't line up correctly so I used spacers and adjusted the a on the steering tube better so it doesn't bind. It's pretty smooth now so I'm hoping that was the reason the po kept breaking cables. I also was looking at the nozzle and noticed it goes further down then up. Is that normal ?
