Hello everyone, I joined this group after buying a Eliminator open bow from a owner that completely neglected this boat , but for the price I couldn't pass it up , hey it was a Eliminator what could be wrong , I know my way around a tool box nothing I wasn't willing to tackle and learn , since I have grown up around boating all my childhood and realizing how much I missed it , I was looking forward to getting on the water again seeing as I have made the decision I want to retire with a cold blue mountain in my hand floating until the sunsets on a lake ! So here's is a short version of what I've done since I bought it and brought it home!

So ,while I was having the floor replaced , I squeezed a little more  to have the interior redone ,and this has been my biggest regret because I went super budget which I have since learned there are certain things you don't shortcut  I'm sure the more knowledgeable will notice the mistake , but I'm happy with it!

It should also be noted the shop that did the interior is no longer in business

Now at this point I hadn't Even had the boat in water the to see if it it floated , and that was a relief when I finally launched it in the water and it did float !

I quickly realized it just wasn't fast enough ! Being I've grown around with running fast enough my eyes teared and my cheeks flapped with a shit eating grin I wanted that experience again so begins the motor build!

I went to a old friend who has built some nice motor and found a good block and found some nice closed chamber heads and had some fun !

While all this was going on I took the boat to GS  and they buffed it out and cleaned up the wiring ( not my area of expertise )

Since I was giving GS my vacation checks , I had them install a ride plate ,and then spent another vacation check with Tim over at Place Diverter  ( one of the best vacations)
