Didn't see you either, lol we got in about 10:30, pulled out at 5:30. Just got home. Had lots of beer too, although none made it home with us.

Took tons of pictures, and they stayed! (Becca dropped the camera in the lake) DAMMIT, now I gotta go buy another camera!

Good times! My buddy and RJ drove the blue boat all day, with a couple of other buddies, and the girls all rode with me in the Moo boat, lol. Go figure. Took it pretty easy though, only a couple blasts above 4000 rpm, but working great! Both boats ran flawlessly all day, although the Moo boat does NOT like to idle when cold. You can certainly hear it ccoming tho. Need to get baffles, got more than my share of 'looks' from the poor bastards trying to fish, lol.

Scratched some of the new paint on the dock. No fault of mine this time, RJ was holding it against the dock while I launched the Blue one. Not his fault either really. Cy will fix it for me,

RJ Loved it, no he didn't drive at mead. He actually got on it full throttle and did well. My buddies were afraid to let it hang out, it'll only do maybe 50 or so, spent half my time waiting on those guys! (The Blue one, he isn't real interested in driving the moo just yet)

That woulda been me.  Didn't see another white Jet boat let alone any other with headers setting out the back, all day, lol. And yeah, you'da heard it before you saw it for sure. Was a little nervous when the Deputy sherrif came down from the lil shack above the ramp to watch me launch the thing. Hopefully he was just a fan.

We started out going right from the launch ramp (by the dam), then to the other side of the lake looking for a place to beach it. Not much there, but we did find a decent spot on the opposite side from the marina. Fished and drank a bit, then loaded up and blasted the whole lake for awhile. All in all we only beached 4 or 5 times (So the girls could, well, you know.)

I liked it alot, big and open, lots of reef areas, and even the wake barges seemed to give a wide berth. No problem children on wet bikes either, that I noticed.  Down at the far end of the lake, yeah, there were a lot of people anchored. I assumed fishing or whatever, I kinda stayed clear a bit with that many boats moored, I'd be about as popular as a fart at a wedding.

The other boat, I noticed from being behind it, is really nearly as loud as the moo, even with TT Harmin Marine manifolds on it, so maybe I was worrying over nothing, but it DOES get your attention doind a holeshot!.

Hhmmm, I got an old flatty I gotta get rid of......

Don't give RJ any ideas, Terry,  He's politicing HARD for the Yellow Submarine to get into full swing, lol. He did impress me not being afraid to full throttle the Biesemeyer though, and he even tried a slick move to get me with the roostertail, but he didn't have it trimmed up when  he did it. If he had, he'da got me good!

Well, boat's been great, until the Saguaro run. Ran her for 5 hours pretty much non-stop. Seems to have real issues with rough water, which I posted in another thread. I came off that lake beat up like an Iraqi prisoner. (Still have sore muscles from that!)Hopefully we can work that out easily. I'm thinking ride plates and diverter will help.

Pulled the plugs and checked the wires about the misifiring issues( seemed to be running on 6 cylinders upon entering the no wake zone as I was preparing to pull it out), looks fine, just maybe started back to it's own rough 700 rpm idle that it hasn't done in awhile and surprised me (always wanted to idle at 1000 Sunday for some reason, sticky cable???). Also maybe a couple of the blasts of water over the bow hit the carbs and cleaned something out, or the major bouncing around we did, lol. I think we're ok there.

Crawled under the boat with an 8 foot level and can see very little rocker or hook, much less than 1/16" anywhere on the boat that I can find. So that's not it. Maybe just very shallow V, but not much more than the Biesemeyer which rode fine there I'm told.

If  the diverter doesn't fix it, then ride plates and maybe removing the foam that's packed into it's bow. (Does ride bow high at lower speeds) Might need a fuel tank up there, lol. I don't think they built them with my kind of HP in mind, but still, HP does not create the ride in rough water.

Any input?

OK, Got the Place Diverter from Tommy boy (Thanks man! thing looks awesome!). And installed it today. Funny how the old nozzle didn't match the pump and the new PD unit matches it perfectly, huh 

Anyway, went on without a hitch. Tried to see if I could reuse the titty pink reverse bucket, but no, of course not. I guess Cy has another one to paint up.

Some time will be spent with a grinder to fix some clearance issues with the plastic pump cover, however. What do you guys think? about 600 hp and this angle, decent roost?

Looked at that, but it's not hitting anything externally. soooo the grindings gonna be on the inside of the bell, if any. That makes me nervous, lol. It would appear that that's about as far as it can go though. Offset Pins? just thought of that!
