im ready!!!! about what time and which launch ramp?

ps if you dont have a boat and wanna go, i got one turn key for sale....(had to do it)

yesterday wasnt a holiday for many...i sure wish it was for me!

which ramp do you guys prefer? i just know about the one on the east side of the lake....i haven't been to the other.

what is the launch fee?

My boats big and heavy, BUT it has a jet... I'm in!  I tried to get out this weekend with the sun finally peeking out, but didn't.  Good excuse to blow a day on the water and meet some of the guys here. 

ill talk to dad and see whats up, but i think we can make it cause there aint no ford guys on that list.
you will need to re jet that carb i'm sure.

My truck is in the shop having the transmission rebuilt but I should be able to get a friend to tow me out. So Hopefully I'll see you all there.

Just a couple little last minute reminders as you're about to put the boat in the water and fire it up and subsequently drive it around...

1.  Check ALL hose clamps, etc. to ensure no hoses blowing off their fittings.
2.  Make sure engine block drain petcocks are closed and/or installed.
3.  Spark plugs are in tight.
4.  Plug wires all connected.
5.  DRAIN PLUG/s
6.  If you have a valve controlling the flow of water into engine, make sure it is open...
7.  Don't forget the keys at home, or the killswitch tab thingy.
8.  Your pump WILL suck shit off the bottom from 3-4' down at idle. It's best you wait til your suction is in chest deep water.
9.  Make sure the water exiting the block is really exiting the boat and not just spilling into your bilge (see hose clamp section)
10. make sure bilge pump is working, burnt fuse means sunk boat.
11. Check the oil!
12. Idle around the marina for a few minutes, have a friend watch whats going on back there. Or do it yourself.
13. If you're taking on water, it's better to beach it than to be fishing for it at the bottom of the lake.
14. BATTERY CONNECTIONS!

I'm not trying to mommy you to death Brad, just know what it's like to be excited the first time you put your boat on the water after some major changes...

I personally forgot to put the drain hole plugs back into the block..... And left the hose clamp on the pump intake loose.... So as soon as I took off GALLONS coming in the boat...
Barely got it back onto the trailer...

Yeah what he said.  Right now the channel from the dock out to the main lake just might be the deepest part of the whole place!  There's LOTS of shallow spots around the edges tho.

Do they still have the "fast lane" in the middle of elsinore?

eh, that sucks... That's where we clocked a 400HP 22' Daytona at 87MPH. Not bad for so little HP huh?

Well, wether you expected it or not, I was really stoked to see this boat come to life after all the work you've done tracking down the history and whatnot. Have fun, I can't wait til this damn money hole, I mean Hawaiian is in the water!
