how can I tell if the bottom has been smoothed or tuned up.It has rocker and the bottom is in very good smooth condition,Or is it a deal where it just has to been seen in person.

Wow, looks like you're doing a beautiful job,  especially if you've never done this kind of stuff before.  As far as checking the bottom, it's much easier to flip the boat over where you can kind of map out the bottom.  You work with a long straight edge, (minimum 4', longer is better), about 48"-60" from in front of the intake to the back, and from chine to chine.  Measure the clearance between the straight edge and the bottom.  It depends on what you want the boat to do as to how crazy you get straightening the bottom.  If you're 3/16"ish or less, personally I wouldn't mess with it.  If you decide to flip it, put up some picks so we can see what you have.  Keep up the good work.

I will do some checkin on the bottom,but it probably hasn't been done the more I look at it.For the stringers I used the kiln dried clear fir.1 1/4 by 5 1/12. and rounded the tops. for resin I went with marine laminating resin,the budget wouldn't allow the big money stuff.the fiberglass is the weaved with the stitching not sure of the official name.2 layers on each side and one over the top.sanded smooth before each additional layer.now I need to get some liquid paraffin wax to add to another top coat so it will dry all the way from what I have read..
