Thanks, Yes teak. I used fine foam sanding blocks, then used a teak cleaning/brightening/oiling kit from west marine. They came out smooth and soft as a baby's ass.can I say that?
i just redid my teak swimsteps...sanded them...stained them reddish color...(red boat)....then used mcloskeys marine spar varnish on them....two coats so far.....maybe 3 or 4 more...they came out bitchin and will last for six years or more as my bro in law did his six years ago and look like he did it yesterday...i will post pics once i put them on the boat...
