Tbi vs efi carbs

I'm running a ls with a holly hi ram.....I currently am running 2 edelbrock 500 cfm carbs..i also run bassett over transom exaughst. I really want to get a set of efi carbs to go with it but from what I understand I can't because of the O2 sensors. Is that true? On another note after searching I found a thread stating that maybe a tbi carb would work. Am I going down too deep of a rabbit hole? My goal was self tuning carbs and I can plug it all in my lap top which was sounding very good. I am not wanting to ditch the water injection exaughst. Any help please. Also if tbi carbs turn out to be a good option any recommendations?

Only way you would be able to do this is tune with the water off then pull the o2 sensors and run in open loop with water turned on.
Probably better off just getting a EFI intake and TB and run a stand alone to tune everything.
