Well I have a 1982 bahner with a delta bottom and wandering what I can do to make her faster Jim at mpd sed I needed to change the hull and round it out due to delta pad boats not getting as much water to the intake but if u know anyone or know what else I can do to make her faster let me know I'm already doing the shoe and ride plate and getting the loader done and doing work to the pump at mpd . So what else can I do to make her faster

While I really want to agree with the delta pad being somewhat of a limiter as far as pump loading, rounding the bottom is a pretty extreme method.
My 82 Bahner with a 468 Bowie and a Berkeley JG was a pretty snappy piece. Definitely no slouch when it came to top speed and handled really well.
Something you did not mention, how fast is she now? Mine was a true 85mph boat with very few hull modifications. I did modify the delta, but did not round the bottom off.
These hulls need a special loader and do not like a lot of transom lift. A droop and a ride plate are almost a must. I recommend a 2 degree back cut shoe and ensure all the hook is removed from the last three feet of the bottom.
One word of caution, the steering gets very questionable at speed on a delta bottom. Chine walking should be your second language.
Have fun.
