If your up for it, and want to run the Chevy headers without using the adapters and you have access to a TIG welder, you can buy BBF header flanges, cut the Chevy flanges off the headers, and with a little effort you can form and fit the Chevy's tubes into the Ford flanges and TIG them on the inside.
Granted it's not the ideal way, but for a guy on a budget and not wanting to buy adapters, (i.e.; more time than money), this is just an option and suggestion.
