Turn Buckle set up for ride plate

I have 2 turn buckles with mounting hardware.
2 buckles One polished and the other needs a quick polish
3 bolts 2@4 5/8 and 1@5 1/2
2 lower mounts
2 upper mounts for droop single drilled to buckle...but you can drill another for double. These were water jet fabbed.
Hardware All stainless bolts
Additional misc parts on the left....pins/mounts

Do you use these in place of a cradle or use them with a cradle?

They bolt up to the ears supplied that bolt to your studs or bolts on split bowl/droop ect. You must have some sort of flat ring type snoot for ears to lay flat on them. The buckles connect to the ears with bolt supplied then to ride plate with mounts supplied. The stud that goes between and connects turn buckle to itself has regular thread on one side and reverse thread on other. This makes ride plate adjustments to keel simple. Heres a sample pic...
