the few... very few races ive been in have for the most part been from some sort of a roll. Maybe not a full on plane or a complete stop but somewhere in between
and theres been no argument who wins. Usually one person starts pulling away from the other right away and theres no contest.
in my case the first time i pulled about a 3 or so boat length lead then hit the bottle for shits and grins. There was no argument that i won. Hell he even came over and geeked out
the second one i was still ahead. and was on the bottle. didn't full on run away but i just lifted when i felt like it and again no argument.
Its not like the street, our boats pretty much stop acelerating at some point and by that point the winner is pretty clear.
