I had planed on doing this Parker deal but changed my mind. I'll be in Blythe for some practice runs.

Whats the launch like? How far would this be from where everyone meets up?

The launch is decent, better/easier than the Avi, in my opinion. If you are used to the F'd up water at the Avi, you'll be fine at La Paz, less current.

Its about ~7 miles up from The Bluewater Casino on the roads, slightly less on the water- 6.5 mi?

It's a few miles up river, cruising speed 15 minutes or so plus the no wake zone.

Water between Road Runner & Bluewater doesn't have many issues as far as shallow areas. Above Road Runner it's good to know where the channel is, follow someone in the group the first time you go up. It's not difficult to see it in my opinion.
