Makes sense, I'm not bitter about it. I'll make the events next year and maybe even take a shot at the list. In the meantime I got a boat to build!

. True story but I'm sure he has no interest in boats 20 mph slower same with Bostick he made two events and could kill all of us.

Sounds good Jim! I was just curious about the events as to what counted and what didn't. With the list so short right now the Tahiti could almost make it lol. I'm considering leaving it together for Papp cause I know the TX won't be ready but we'll see. I'll definitely make several events next year list or no list. The Elsinore trip was a blast with you guys so I'm expecting the big events to be even better

You guys need to get a post going with the rules locked down like I can qualify by going to two socal events do I need to have my boat at these events and dose the race have to happen at the socal event also who needs to see the race go down and how do people know who and where boats are on the list a weekly posting? Not trying to start anything just asking

You are getting screwed out of this one I think if I heard correctly you raced everyone that would race and lost so that would make you gatekeeper. Since there aren't ten boats shouldn't be a problem 😂😂 unless now we are adding a minimum speed rule also.

actually..... I raced Dennis several times at the river & lost.... I bet he will chime in soon to confirm. Just trying to help fill that list up. I'll be farm truck johnny!!!!

We have rules in place and they are very simple.

1. Make two SoCal jet boat events per year.
2. You can only call out two up on the list.

The races can take place wherever both parties agree. Then I will need to know the out come please. This will not be a weekly posting only changing when I get new information of a position change on the list.

I propose adding the rule that the boat and motor you plan to use to compete in the top 10 list must be also present with you at the 2 SCJB events.

Since you are clearly getting alot of push back on the requirements heres an idea, the list is only for SCJB members to push each other, and it's not a status thing. I agree with keeping the riff-raff out, but the List not full so why don't you also include members based on "post count" or their "position" you can check in their profile, they clearly have in intrest in the community but can't afford to make it to two events or chose to spend the money they do have to go to the river for one event and maybe save the next vacation for their birthday.. just an idea.

Broke one of the two rules sorry. He however could of called Johnny B out and gave it a go. If you guys would like we will add a four boat shoot out for the gate keeper spot. The first four guys to ask for a spot will be the four to pair off and run then the winners run then we have our gate keeper. This will be done at Elsinore before Tom Papp. speak up know only if you will attend and compete.

Understood but that will not work they have to be able to go out for call outs. It will cost a little bit to be on the list if you can't make a call out you will be off the list. Sorry

I tried that at the start and got a lot of poor feed back. At the time Jake and Tim were driving more then one boat. I would love to get together with five guys and put a few rule together and call it done. Brad, Dennis, Tow truck, Jake and myself If this will work for the above guys please let me know. We will meet the night before Tom Papp and hammer this out.
