. Steve is on to us. Some of these boats are well over the 100mph mark. The guy's are not needing any added problems to jeopardize there safety. If it can happen in a location where safety is not compermized then great. When you put times and dates out there you end up not even being able to run. I hope all understand this it is a dangerous sport in the first place let's not add to it.

Ehhh I thought that little meetup we all had in October or November or whatever went pretty safe with a bunch of boats there racing. I think it would be much more fun to have a day of racing where multiple call outs can happen on the spot and a bunch of people there to witness and make sure everything is fair

. That was for the most part safe do to the fact we had 20 boats. All Guy's racing and know the deal. The boats were beached unless out racing one guy. Myself and Dennis went to another location to make our pass on nos. Then we made some passes with the rest on motor. We will do the same deal again this year. If we get out there a bit earlier we can make the big passes in the same spot.

I totally understand the safety thing believe me. I don't leg my boat out unless water conditions are pretty ideal. And after talking about it i do understand the need to not let these things turn into crowded events. I was just thinking that if it was set up where a bunch of guys on the list and challengers to the list were able to meet and have a shootout of sorts it would give new guys a shot as well and make for some good racing/ shake things up a bit. And I'm by no means trying to take a shot at it with my current boat, just thinking out loud.

. I agree it is just harder to pull off then you think. November work for a few reasons cold being the main reason. Second is only serious guys come out to freeze there buts off. I 8" wake at 100 mph could be fatal. Guy's idling around with a case of beer to watch a race does no understand the true danger.
