We do that sometimes. I created a event last year "not Socal related" before the DVD release to sort out positions and get a few guys to run. Had about 15 boats show up. The only problem doing it now is cops are out. Summertime is coming. We did this in November when there was no one out and still got a lil choppy. I'm certain there will be a few call outs happening soon and probably will be taking place at Elsinore.

. I will put something together like that event this summer for the spectators. Give me a bit to figure it out that will work for all.  We will do it at the river some place that someone on the beach can see. It will be on a off weekend

I'd drive to see that 10 sec any day brotha. What's the purpose of the Top 10 if no one is there to see it? I understand safety is #1 priority. I'll wait to launch till after the race

Bottom line I'm with you Steve on spectators. There is no reason to have the list if no one gets to see races. I don't mind the date and times posted because all of my races "if getting called out" will be at mclyntre on off weekends or early morning pending on water conditions due to previous boats that have already launched. And doubt anyone is going drive 2-3 hrs just to watch 2 guys race for 10 seconds

Umm... 521 ran 83mph but haven't played with the place diverter to try and see where the sweet spot is. Ran 79 with 3 adults. I don't really make passes or wide open a lot usually have my boy with me but the two times I did that's the results. Need to get out more without the boy but kinda hard when he lives the boat.

What price range? I'll ask around. My buddy's dad used to have one cheap.

Yeah. I'm mid 70's on motor but high 80's on a 150 shot... it's a freak  I know

I really would be down for a 70-90 top 10 list. I think that would be very competitive, not cost 20-30k to get on it, and all in all be a good list for the forum m3mbers

Yes we all love the top 10. But the reality is most of us can't afford it. Kinda like a big tire/small tire deal
