Had a good time today hanging with the socaljetboat guys that actually made it out there! Also enjoyed all the 909 and 951 eye candy! 

What a ZOO the lake was today.  The wife got called off from work so we headed out late.  Got to Marina West a bit after noon and the guy said I was gonna be the last boat in unless someone on the radio told him different.  Motored down to the cove but it was so full I only went halfway in and turned around.   We went back around to the other side.  Kids played and swam while me and the wife laid around naked all afternoon.   Nope, ya can't see any pics, Brad runs a clean site here LOL.
Spoke briefley with Beaverretriever and his bro at the ramp after we pulled out.   Kinda sux to come back to the real world,  if I had remembered the BBQ we probably would still be out there.   See y'all next time, maybe Father's Day at the river.

I made it about 1/2 mile from the marina and blew the head gasket and busted the oil pump...

So what was the story on the submerged F150 with the boat n trailer still attached?   How the hell does a guy drive his rig straight out into the lake?   A BIG tow truck was dragging it back out when we rolled in at noon.

Whats the saying? "You cant fix stupid"

Apparently you can't teach it to drive either.   

 

the lake was awsome  . lots of good eye candy, boats and there accessories. my boat ran like a champ all day the only problem we had was running out of beer around noon, but Boost came to the rescue with some more. Saw a few SCJB.com fellas out there and hung out for awhile bench racing. during our bench racing with Terry i think that we might have found out whats wrong with RedSnapperSlappers motor finally. my boat was full with 5 people and beer, we did some wake boarding and finally left around 5 ish. it was a good day in my opinion. sorry no pictures.

Yeah no shit . . . I asked about the ramp "incident" over at RDP and got pics and a pretty unbelievable story to go along with them.  I really hope the part about a small child being in the truck was wrong but who knows.
