Even though I couldnt make it to Mead doesnt mean I cant go boating this weekend

. A few of us are hitting Elsi this Sunday. Anybody else getting cabin fever and wanna go boating?

i talked to omar today and he said he was going to give me an update about sunday. i think that you, bob, should call him and get talk him into going i already bent his ear. Im in fo sho....

Talked to Snuff630 and he sounds like he is in. Looks like 76 Bonneville is out(something about playing with his motor

) and hopefully Glasscutter with get out as well. Hope to see some others that didnt make it to Mead.

Well . . . we have all kinds of news and even a few pics from the Lake Mead bunch, but we ain't heard nuttin' from the locals. Did anybody make it? I am so jealous of all you guys that were on the water today anywhere.

i made it, and had some carb trouble. i didnt see anyone out there but flytime, he gave me a tow in. im sure he will chime in soon. im still a little to pissed to type.

i wish it was that simple skip, the carb was all dicked up and the damn thing wouldnt start after it ran like a champ at over 50mph. im looking for a 750dp with mech secondaries and an electric choke. im going to do a complete overhaul on the ignition and the wiring for the batteries. i bought brand new ones last night and they would barely crank the motor, oh yeah the starter isnt working. other than that a great day. the lake was cold but the water was smooth and the boat handled great. cant wait to get it running the way it should and have a great time with it.

Sorry I didn't make it out there guys.. I spoke with Bob this morning. My fiance was throwing up all day so I had to take her to urgent care.

She's starting to feel a lil better so by next weekend we will be back out on the water.... I at least got to play "river" saturday night!

Yes he did. I think there is some timing issues. I wants to start but

I think we need some profesional Ford guys to take a peak. Ralph....we coulda used you today. Still was a pretty good day. When the boat ran well it ran WELL! Looked reallly good in the water and I am sure it will see the water again soon. My wife took some pics with his bro's g/f's camera so hopefully those will get posted up. Happy to say the Mastercraft had a flawless day. I got to do the towing instead instead of being towed this time

Next weekend is IHBA at Elsinore so not sure how much boating of my own will be done.

my brother has been busy messing around with the boat, he got it to run and stay running. we adjusted the carb and it sounded pretty good. he is going to clean up the wiring and finish the little things on the boat. here are some pictures of our little trip enjoy

Moron! Yea he's got a little too. I think she is 8 or 9. Skyler. Really sweet little girl. My girls were very excited when they found out she was coming with us.

I know it was mean but I could not stop laughing when Dave got a fire ball in the face. Note to self.....never put face over open carb when pumping the gas and trying to start a boat
