labor day weekend at elsinore?

Thinking about heading there instead of mead, less hassle and save me 400 in diesel, anyone going out, I just got my pile up and going, would like to see more classics out there.

Probably gonna be a Donkey Fest wherever anyone goes this weekend. All I can say is launch anywhere other than the city launch ramp at Limited ave. on lakeshore or lakeside drive. Completely unprotected from 3' rollers comin off the lake.

I wish I'd have tied to the dock with the bow facing the wakes, probably wouldn't have broken my fender rope and fugged up the rubber strip in my rub rail.

On the west end of the lake there are now 2 campgrounds with ramps. Neither ramp is steep and each one is wider by far than the city ramp down by the cove. The first one you come to is brand new so I imagine the docks are cherry.

I have an employee that lives off pepper and I launch there, beach is sandy and and usually nobody there, ya new dock across from the high school is nice!

i would get there early early. usually on the weekend if your not there by 9 or 10 you dont want to be on the lake till after 5. sounds like just a day to cruise to the cove and kick back there for the day. take pics guys. ill be in havasu living the dream

im pretty sure ill be at elsinore sunday... going to launch out of la laguna... i have a white/gray challenger jet boat with a pirate flag off the ski tow.. ill be doing some laps then chillin at the cove for the day...

I think we will go out for a while tomorrow. Probably gonna aim for about 8:30 a.m. at the Marina West ramp. Don't be afraid to stop by and say hi. I expect we will probably leave early afternoon though so we don't have to fight the idiots at the ramp.

I think I saw you guys leaving about the same time we did. Yeah that boat is hard to miss, but I like the color personally. We ended up sharing a beach with BerkBryan and his group. Sorry I didn't spend more time talking to you and the group but my Dad is going into the hospital next week and me and the wife were kinda wrapped up in that whole deal. I wasn't really at my best today, if I hadn't got out to the lake I think I would have killed one or two of the kids. Then we went for a putt and ended up on the other side of the dike in the big cove. Much quieter over there and a few bikinis that were just faaaabulous. I think we pulled out about 1:30ish so we wouldn't have to deal with a super crowded ramp. Gonna try La Laguna next time cuz Marina West is just soooo slick you can't even stand up on it.
