my little brother RedSnapperSlapper got my old boat done and he is ready to try and get it wet. Im going to go as long as i dont have to work.... so im going to start a list of people that are going to go. please feel free to come, we might both need a tow

FYI for all you that plan on going Saturday. It is opening day at Elsi. Good part.....free entry and launch, bad part.....everybody that owns some sort of boat seems to show up. I made that mistake one year and it was a nightmare. Too many fuking idiots on the water at the same time and the lake cops doing everything in thier power to give out as many tickets as possible. Good luck if you do make it out. Be safe and dont do anything stupid. Dad will shut up now and stop typing

Went there this morning and tuned out the boat as well as I could on the trailer. Man those new heads flow a whole lot more than the old ones - The carb adjustments are way different than before and it wants a lot of fuel...

Didn't feel like starting a new thread cuz I'm lazy like that and I knew you guys will read this anyway. Me and the wife went out to Elsie all day today. It was awesome. The water is warming up, the breeze stayed down most of the day and I got lots of drinking done. For entertainment we watched some guy work trying to get his egg beater to start for at least an hour. The whole time his 3 kids are hollering from shore "Why won't it start Dad?" Then back at the marina to leave we watch a guy with his carb on fire. He is acting like it is no big deal, swatting at it with a t-shirt, but it won't go out. Seriously after about an entire minute, he finally gets his fat ass out of the seat and goes back to smother it proplerly.
Good times today and I still have 6 days of vacation to go!
