Sometime yet this year I want to try out Pyramid Lake, I have never been there, but we tow through the Grapevine six times a year on our way to Famoso Raceway in Bakersfield. It's 90 miles from my house, how are they with the typical hot rod jet boat? Picky about noise or anything else?. Of course I have open headers over the transom but have water through them, tunnel ram dual Holleys and all the normal BS that goes along with that kind of boat. It does look pretty nice seeing it from the freeway and quite large, I would just hate to make a wasted trip and not have a good time up there or be hasseled about something stupid.

My father in law has never had any issues with his 74 Hallett with over the transom headers. Seems like yours may be a little louder then his but there's always a hot rod boat or two out there it seems like. It's a good lake, we have three girls, an 8 year old a three year old and our youngest just turned one today and we always find a beach for base co for the day and have a blast. Most days it gets a little windy in the afternoon but nothing you can't deal with.

Thanks for the info. I'll try and make it up there on a Saturday in Aug. or Sept., for now I really enjoy going out to Parker.

Great day today on the water at lake pyramid, even though it was 105! Didn't see not one jet boat out there

And what's a day on the water without the lake lice dumb dumbs getting hurt... When we were coming in for the day there was all kinds of emergency personnel and a helicopter getting ready to land.

Where do you regulars normally hang out?

Locations for hanging out is kind of all over the place on here. I'm over in Ontario and once a month wife and I have been going out to Parker so far this season. It's a bit of a drive, but when there it's well worth it. Other than Parker, we sometimes hop down to Lake Elsinore for a day, no one there gives a crap about noise or speed, hell, they never even looked at my boat for anything...LOL We do want to go check out Pyramid
lake some time soon, it's 90 miles from my house. Always looking for others to meet and enjoy a day out on the water...cheers ..
