San v

So I had seen on facebook two days ago that San Vicente was finally going to open on September 22nd, and I wasn't too sure due to how many times it was supposed to be opening. So being curious I drove over there and talked to the security guard at the entrance and talked to him for a minute and he said that the lake is for sure opening on the 22nd and will be open Thursday's to Monday's. Monday will be fishing only. They're going to allow 40 water contact / recreation  boats per day and 110 fishing boats. The only way to get into the lake is to buy tickets online through ticket master. Just figured I would let everyone know because I hadn't seen anything in here yet about it! The lake is finally going to be open since 2008!

Hey all ...heads up on San vicente..I just went  on 10/2/16. ..the lake is beautiful  clean crystal clear water . The day I went it was mostly fishing boats out on the water maybe 3 other ski boats that I noticed. Was like we had the whole lake to ourselves.  The down side is you have to go through ticketmaster to buy a launch ticket. It's 7 dollars for a water contact ticket but after all the fees ticket master charges you end up spending 20 bucks for a ticket, plus at the entrance to the lake you pay an additional 10 bucks for each person. We ended up spending 60 dollars just to get out. The water.  But the lake is huge and beutiful . We were doing laps around the island all afternoon. No cop boats that I could see ..there is supposed to be a 35 MPh speed limit but around the back side of the lake we were opening up the boat a little to around 50 MPH no one around  to really care about us going to fast..ha ha .. the lake is beutiful but it's expensive...
