Keep this in mind when backing your trucks in. If you get the front tires wet, you may not be able to stop sliding into the lake truck and all.

another reason why i tend to use La Laguna, it seems to be taken care of better

The TPM comes off here to some who are new to this site as "a great chance to get out and enjoy the weather and friends." It may attract some folks who are new to Elsie. The lake does have some things that can bite you if you aren't paying attention. I love a great You Tube ramp fail video as much as anybody, but I don't wish it on any SCJB'rs. And take a moment to say a prayer for Mr. Papp while y'all are having fun.

Nope, I'm too tied up with finishing up a couple bikes for Taft Jan. 31. Trying to get a Husqvarna 390 resto finished up. I'm afraid the first time I am going to throw a leg over her will be on the starting line. Also building/tearing down two other CZs. The gas in my boat is over 3 years old now and I don't have the time to deal with a few other small rigging issues.

And then there is the issue of the slippery ramps. Unlike most of you guys, I have to get waist deep in the water to load my boat properly, and that is IF things go well from the start. But it is going to be a fantastic day out there, sad the water looks like it does. Have fun y'all.

It's on the north east side of the lake. If you're looking at a map of the lake, the cross streets are Lakeshore and Chaney

Set to roll out in the morn. Should be a good time tomorrow. Get to see some clean boats and meet some new people. And unfortunately I got into the game to late to meet Mr. Papp, but lets not forget tomorrow we also celebrate a life that help make jet boats what they are today. See everyone at the ramp.
