Hello all you jet boaters,I'm brand new in the jet boat world and have a question for someone with more knowledge than me,which will be pretty much anybody that will reply! So I got a cool little what I was told was a flat bottom boat "although the bottom isn't completely flat"  and I'm clueless on the make of it? It was manufactured in rancho cucumonga Cali I know but that's it. It's the origanal gel coat and is rough to boot but I could barely make out the words,"double eagle" faded in the side of it. Is that the name of the boat? I googled it and researched it every way I know how and have came up snake eyes every time. Just wanted to at least know where I am starting from, thanks for all the support in advance and I look forward to being in the jetboat seen for awhile! It's a blast so far.  It has a panther amc360 with a panther jet out board and I gps it on my phone at 63mph which I was very pleased with!  Thanks again. Will post pics once Im not ashamed of its looks! Lol.

2 places to look...
What does the registration say for make?
Every boat has letters/numbers cast into the mold - look on the back of boat, top right or left....the letters will tell the manifacture in abbreviation.

The 360 / Panther jet combo was used by few....good motor thought(factory balanced)....63 is damn good for that combo.

Like Joel said...the first three numbers of your hull numbers are the Manufacturer Identification Code (MIC). you can run those thru the coast guard website and it will tell you the manufacturer.

Sweet  thank you guys very much for your response!  I will run those numbers with the coast gaurd site to check it out.  Looking forward to getting at least a name of the boat I enjoy. Gonna re-gel coat it and do the interior also. I'm excited to get it all done so I can have it dialed for next summer!  Thanks again and happy boating!
