yeah the 300 doesnt have much pull, great for kids to learn on though.  If you enjoy it you might want to consider a 550, or my personal choice, an X2.

Yeah that ride plate is stock and it looks like the po used it in the ocean. The bars look stock as well. The kerker pipe is after market and a decent pipe for a Kawi. You need a steering cable though. Where are you located ? There's a place in brea called pacific Motorsports that has all that stuff for pretty cheap. Talk to Gordon. Can't beat free but as stated above if your over 150 it's gonna be a dog. Still a fun ski though.

There is a guy right off the 10 freeway and riverside in colton ca huge jet ski junk yard he a a few 300 there for parts.

Free is always good, I started on a free 440 myself! I have had my share of Kawi's 300 is general are slow, they are great for your little ones to go have fun on but that's about it. I thought was 440 was a little hard to ride due to it being underpowered. I have. 650 Kawi's that has never let me down, it's looking a little rough lately but that only because I don't really take it out any more.

Side note- always really wanted a x2 and a square nose! Never ridden on a square nose because I know I'd be hooked and have to get one, then watch it side on my side yard. Haha

Nice. The white one has an ac racing aluminum pole and the red one is a custom pole the po had made in Hawaii ( that's where the hull is from ). The white one has a built 701 and the red one I just built a 760 for it. Still needs some tuning but it's a monster

I've been going to Gordon for over ten years. He's a cool dude that likes to help when he can. Did you ever meet a short guy named mark Gomez ? He's a pro freestyle rider now. He's also helped me a lot with tuning and ideas for the red ski

760 from 61x or 64x? Yea, I've talked to Mark there a few times. He sold me on the worx 201 grate.

From a 61x. The 64x doesn't have the snap from the bottom end that I wanted. So it's a built 61x with attitude lol

Ok since my last post ive had the starter off..brushes & armeture look good & im getting a clicking coming from the "comtrol box". Is there a part in that box i can replace in the hopes it will make the starter turn over ?

TY for the advice jamiemwedmore1234. I ran into a friend who has a kawasaki jet ski motor manual so i made copies of a few pages & learned alot. Mine was missing the cable that goes from the solenoid to the starter, i added that & a bit of gas / starting fluid & she runs quite loud & she sounds healthy too ! So my new mission is to make a new fuel tank & later buy the steering nozzle.
Old tank is gonzo..Ill be reusing the threaded part....

Its a bit bigger than stock...

I also solved the stubborn throttle cable issue. Made a bracket & added another return spring...

Ok the tank i made it sealed & painted & installed. Ill have to fab some brackets so i can use the factory bungee's to secure it in place....the new tank is a bit longer & taller. Also repaired a section of the carb that had broken off & the PO used silicone to "hold" it in place...JB weld to the rescue !
