« on: September 11, 2009, 06:43:34 AM »
8 years ago i woke up like every other American, went to work then all hell broke loose.....
The past few days I have been thinking about 9/11/01 and still not really sure what happend ??? other than me, you and America have been attacked by some piece of shit. I'm getting choked up now and having a hard time putting what i feel into words.

I WILL NEVER FORGET WHAT THEY DID TO ME AND MY FELLOW AMERICANS

Amen Ralph

I remeber it clear as day. I just got out of the shower and was in the bedroom getting ready for work and I saw the WTC on fire at first i thought it was the anniversay of the WTC bombing then on live TV i saw the second plane hit and said WTF was that and at that moment my heart sank like a ton of bricks. I WILL NEVER FORGET
RIP all 2996 people

Josh, i was trying to explain it to my 6 year old daughter this morning as we watched some of the re-run coverage. the important thing is that we never forget that it happened and how we felt.

My submarine, USS Houston (SSN 713) just pulled into port at PSNS Naval Shipyard, Bremerton WA. and had the bottom of its rudder cut to get it into dry dock for a refueling. They were talking about weldin the sucker back on ....... Man we were pissed, stuck in the shipyard !

I was living in the OC (Fullerton) & I was on the phone with my friend Yvonne from PRB media she's a great freind of mine that lives in Manhattan, I was all set to fly out on the 13th for her birthday on the 16th, it was very surreal talking to her as she described what she was seeing and I was watching it on TV. I'll never forget that day as long as I live. She  was on vacation that week, she worked in WTC tower 2. She's a data processor for the FBI and her office was on the 55th floor.

I still talk to her, we spoke this morning, kind of an annual "hey it's me I'm thinking about you" deal. She's still fu&ked up by the whole deal, everyone in her office died that day, including her fiance.

F_U_C_K terrorists, terrorism and all the chicken shit that these people do, whoever they are.

Yea i dont think anyone who was over the age of 5 will ever forget that day.. that would be like forgetting Pearl Harbor.
Its a sad feeling every year, but its good to remember the fallen.!!

9/11 is this generations Pearl Harbor. Your right about anyone over 5 should remember that day. I cant remember what I had for lunch 2 days ago, but everything about that day is a crystal clear memory.

I WILL NEVER FORGET!

the only thing that consoles me is knowing bin laden is on the run (if he's not DEAD). ask why? like husain, maybe some day soon our MILITARY will find him reduced to living in some small a** hole for the past 8 years!!!!!!!!!!

Doesn't seem like eight years have passed, the hate is still deep.

I find myself thinking reall dark evil things when I think of what I would like to see happen to all involved.

The second part of the ongoing tragedy for me is the American soldiers that have been lost since the attacks, it all seems for not.

I hope to someday soon see a resolution to a nightmare that has been ongoing for nearly a decade. I have some family back east and you can actually hear the effects of the terrorist attacks on their voices in a phone conversation..Very sad indeed.

I will continue to support our troops over seas and at home who protect our great nation, I just hope there will be something worth fighting for left while corporate giants crumble and take it apart piece by "peace"......They should be ashamed of themselves.....No pride at all... >:(

Thanks for the thread Ralph
