Description:

Under general direction oversees, supervises, and coordinates Meter Division functions including field services, meter reading, and meter installation, maintenance, repair, and retrofitting services and activities within the Finance Department; coordinates assigned activities with other divisions, outside agencies, and the general public; and provides highly responsible and complex staff assistance to the Customer Service Manager. 
Qualifications:  Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade supplemented by specialized training in backflow technology, cross-connection technology, and meter reading and repair.  Six years of responsible water industry experience related to area of assignment including three years of administrative and supervisory responsibility and experience in meter reading, meter installation and repairs, meter calibration and other meter related duties.  Possession of an appropriate, valid driver's license.  Possession of a Backflow and Cross Connection Control certification.
