:banghead:so the newbie made an opps today..... i fired the boat up today to make sure i had no leaks. being a noob the water hose was on full blast for about 5 seconds before i started the boat, it cranked over fine but ALOT of water came out the exhaust.... yea i know pretty dumb of me. so tons of water came out the weep holes from the headers even with very little pressure from the water hose. is that still to much pressure for the valve controling the water entering the injection system? im afraid i got water in the sump,,, i started the boat dry about 3 times and checked the dip stick for any water signs.... theres nothing.... if water did get in, would i be able to see it on the dip stick? sorry im sure you guys seen alot of this and already raped the search bar. but main concern is water in oil. thanks guys in advance.... god i hate noobs lol... by the way im mechanically inclined.... a bmw tech here.

The water in the oil is the harmless part.
Typically it is my experience that the oil will milkshake within seconds of running... Yes I have done dumb stuff too...In all honesty we all have.

Now for the not so good part. Water, as you know does not compress...Guess what the pistons are going to try to do to the water?...
If it didn't make any knocks, bangs or wheezes, you may have gotten your freebie for the year.

Good luck.
