Any HVAC service guys looking to make a move? (edited)
« on: September 05, 2014, 09:16:15 PM »
Here is the long and the short of it.

I am looking to step up to the plate and dive in head first into a project management position. Unfortunately for me, I need to find someone to replace myself in the field.

I work on some of the weirdest chit on the planet. The area I work is IMHO the best.

We are a union shop, privately owned and the fourth largest mechanical contractor in the USA.

My area as far as territory is very vast, you will have more work than you can do. Most of my accounts have been with me with three contractors over the last 11 years or so.

I am in service. Benefits are a truck (I drive a 2014 Chevy 2500 van), gas card, uniform service, tools, training...

Hit me up if you are thinking about either A. Beginning a career in HAVC&R or B. moving to the central/northern coast area (basically on the coast Big Sur all the way to Scotts Valley and in the valley from about King City all the way north to Mountain View/Santa Clara).

Pay can vary based on experience, if you are a newbie, I am sure I can get you to pass the entrance exam to get you into the union. The apprenticeship is five years with school two nights a week with no school in the summer. It goes by like a bad dream LOL.

If you are a journeyman elsewhere and thinking about relocating to this awesome area, hit me with a PM, I will put you in touch with the right folks.. We are still growing and I really need the help.

Also, and keep this under your hat, there is an incentive for finding the right people and I would be happy to split it with you (It's a lot of dough)..

Thanks.
