We took the shuttle to go see the blow hole in the rocks. it wasnt worth the 1 1/2 hr drive there

Another thing you will see is loooonnngggg liinnnneesss at the drug stores. You can buy shit real cheap there. When I went on one at about this time it was mostly old folk on the boat, no offense to you Ralph

There is a hotel called the Bahia that has the best and strongest margaritas. I go to Ensenada every year for a week and always stop in there for a few drinks.

my girlfriend just got back from that trip, she left out of sand diego she is telling me as i type when you get there dont buy all u can drink wrist bands wait to see which one will best suit you...some will include food. See the place first because it might not be your type of place to spend your afternoon. because they offer them to you right off the boat those are not the ones you want. each bar has their own. most of the time 20.00 all you can drink.

i did the 5 day one (mon-fri)....only difference is they make a stop at catalina....i had never been there before this. man, what a boring place.

ensenada was cool....i went to the blow hole too...and i have to agree, not worth it. the shops down there are cool, but its the same crap you can find on the streets of ensenada.

i enjoyed staying on the boat the most. met some cool people too. also, dont pass up on the dinner. the food is actually pretty good and whats cool is you have an assigned table with the same people every night. you get to share your stories and get ideas of what to do. i was at a table with some really cool people and after dinner, all of us would go out drinkin/clubbin together. good times for sure. i'd do it again in a heartbeat especially with ticket costs down as low as they are now. you couldnt spend 4 nights at a motel 6 and pay for food for those 5 days for that price.

Brad your saying catalina is boring? you have to experence it on your own boat.....I have had some of my best days on the island.

I have a friend who lives in La Bufadora, I went to his place like 15 times before I went to see the blowhole. If you're going to be in La Bufadora, you have to go to Gordo's Cantina, killer food, even better prices. Just watch out for the Tequila Vibre, it's made by one of the cooks. He's an indian from a village in the mountains above Mexico City, they make the tequila, drop in the biggest live rattlesnake they can find and put the lid on it, it's in a big ass pickle jar. Once the scales from the snake start to float, it's ready. Did I mention that the scales have some sort of nuerotoxin in them, equivalent to say, LSD or maybe Peyote. I was fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucked up I can tell you that.

Thanks guys. We had planned on doing the la buffawhatever thingy but I wanna get out of it. The trip is for my sis's b-day. so its kinda on her terms I guess. What about on the boat. Are the bars 24/7? the casino? we are going to do our best on sneakin booze on with us Any ideas? I guess your alloud bottle of wine so we filled bottles with our usual's and we have a buddy that work's for wine down and is going to reseal them for us tonight. but the more we can take the less we have to buy.

Everytime the wife and I go "cruising" I stuff wine bottles in socks in the luggage and fill water bottles with vodka. Just make sure to pack your own corkscrew. Never had a problem. The casino's are not open 24/7 but you can get booze anytime of the day. Have a good time.

Thanks Bob Im lookin forward to it. its my first cruise. Im hoping the single woman thing is good, Me and 2 of my buddys that are going are recently single so were hoping haha

Willow I hope you and your bud have a good one, but like I said it was all mostly old folk on my cruise at this time, I did have a blast at the casino and all, but just saying, again no offense to you Ralph

Like brad said also you may hook up at the dinner table, with some other partiers also, we did. Have a blast no matter what

O we will have a blast im sure, maybe we will get some cougars

I wish we did this thing in the summer but my sister did the planning and this time of year fell into our budget better and it didn't screw with the boating season at all. thanks for all the advice boys ill post plenty of pics when we return.

just got back from an 8 day out of SanDiego crusing ia a blast but drinks are pricey. If you order a refill on your drink you save 2 bucks a piece and beer is cheaper by the bucket. What cruise line are you taking ? We (18 of us went on the Carnival Spirirt.)the best New Years Ive ever had
