I've never been hit up by 15 y/o pretending to be someone else.  :sly:

Facebook is just for people who are embarassed to say "Yeah, I have a myspace account."
What really cracks me up is people send me messages say "I'm deleting my MySpace account."
Like WTF ??? is it costing you anything.  :screwy:
Whats the fukin diffrence if you ever look at it again or not
Fact of the matter is FaceBook is MySpaces little bitch.
There is realistically only one person I know through facebook that is the reason I keep it.
I guess that dont say much for MySpace  :D

I have both. Finding facebook is a more  mature thing I guess. Stricly friends. You don't get a bunch of phoney friend request or 16 yr olds posing to be older
I hear this all the time and I just dont understand it ???
There are setting to edit out AAAAALLLLLLLLLLLL the B.S.
With the exception of the hot skany hoes I've solicited, all the people on my MySpace are people I've known or have something in common with.

Know what?

At the bequest (actually demand) of my employees and employers alike I finally signed up on Facebook a couple weeks ago. Never did the Myspace thing as, in My mind, was a kinda place to either try and lie your way into a hookup or was a waste of time. So, anyway, I post a bunch of boat pics up and let's see what happens (That seems to be my life at the moment).

Tell me if myspace is different, Omar.

Since signing up and posting stuff (Mostly communicating with parents of Cin's old students and people I work with) I keep seeing these "suggested contacts I may know"  I've followed up on a few . I've found people from my childhood up through the last 10 years and have at least gotten back in touch.

Does Myspace do this? I think not, and it's been right every time! (Kinda scarey how the hell it does it, but whatever).

Found people I went to school with, partied with, even one, so far, I built cars with back in the day.

So Yeah, Facebook is Valid, IMO, and unless you're looking for a hookup or something else, (from what I understand), Myspace is a waste of time. (Then again, I've never tried it soooooooo.............)

anyone remember friendster? it was the myspace before myspace. their downfall was they couldnt keep up with the demand....pretty much crashed hourly....then myspace came along and stole their thunder and made millions and the owner sold it to fox. very smart move.

i find myspace to be a bunch of emo kiddies trying to promote their favorite band, 14 year old sluts and people who collect as many friends as possible. I get 10-15 friend requests a week from people i have nothing in common with....let alone know who the hell they are.

on facebook, i dont get this vibe. its more personal....getting reconnected with long lost friends (I've found many!)...its cleaner...no one has bloated cluttered profiles that take forever to load and force you to listen to their crappy favorite song of the week.

this is a great cartoon that showed up on the internet the week Tom sold myspace...
