im kinda scratching my head....how did the motor just fall out like that? even if the mounts failed, it just doesnt seem to me it would just fall out like that.

Don't know what your problem is Brad they tell you exactly what happened in the interview. Basically he said "das est Kaput".

Looking at the video it looks like the turbos sneezed before the big bang and it probably sheared off the back of the crank when the bottom end let go taking the rear mounts when it exploded and twisted the front mounts off on exit. (or they forgot a feew bolts when they put it together) if that's the case I would say they also forgot about a pop off valve so they let the motor work as one.
