Just make sure it's tight. Light coming on and off indicates its a soft code, which means its something that's not a catalyst damaging code.

I had started wrenching it down and it hasn't come back on but it's also not 1000 degrees here at home either.

For your sake Beerjet we will hope its not 420. Even though that sounds like a good time, LOL, thats a catalyst efficiency code which means its time for new cats. Not cheap!

Let us know what you come up with.

Most likely po440- 455 Evap emission control codes (gas cap loose). Posssibly a lean code as well, when was the last time you changed the fuel filter and air filter?
