Watch for any popups pretending to be "Antivirus Live" or "Internet Security 2010", or any other antivirus. They can pop up anywhere. If you click anywhere on the pop-up window, or in SOME cases just mouse over it with your cursor, it will AUTOMATICALY download a virus to your machine. The best thing to do if this happens to youis control-alt-delete, shut down your browserand run your security software. You may need to do it in Safe mode, and then in normal mode too. Be careful also because they make the virus look just like the real virus software.     Ask me how I know

Google Chrome since the beta version, I love it. There's some compatibility issues with some add ons and programs, but for the most part it works great.

Um, Nancy Boy.... AOL's browser is a fluffy version of IE. 

AOL is a virus in itself. its a ad ridden bloated memory hog horribly coded application.

yes google chrome is a browser.....so is firefox. use either one of these.

malwarebytes.org is a free program that does a really nice job of getting rid of most of those fake antivirus spyware/malware. You would be suprised that it actually finds and get rid of stuff your paid version cant find or cant get rid of.

NO Antivirus program can detect and/or get rid of ALL infections. And getting infected with one even with having a "good" program is still very much possible. The majority of all single PC all the way up to full network infection that I see and deal with comes down to HUMAN ERROR!

Keep in mind that not one browser made today on ANY operating system is immune from virus and spyware infection, Yeah that includes you Apple nuts also!
