dont have a clue, berkley jet
« on: August 06, 2011, 08:40:52 AM »
hi there, i am a complete dummy when it comes to boats , so try and bare with me. my son brought home a boat a couple of years ago and it has sat in my back yard ever since he got it. i guess the number one reason being that the boat has a hole in the bottom. needless to day now it sits in the dump pile, but before i take it away i thought i would take off the metal pieces that i thought might bring some extra cash. so i thought about it and decided to go this route first. so i got the part off the boat and wrote down some info and here is what i have.berkly pump co, 3/23D, h-2155 this was on the casing water intake unit. then berkly jet drive h-1727 on casing of jet drive, and last , marine jet drive model: 12JC-A-H, BM # 6470.
now my question is , if i can sell this part and what it might be worth , being i know nothing about it.
i sure would appreciate any info anybody can give me on this subject. thanks again and have a great day. dimndi48

Pics!  12JC pump is pretty basic but there may be someone that is looking for one, could be worth something.

Try to get some pics of the boat posted, people on here are always looking for parts, pumps, etc, etc.   Might get someone to take the whole thing out of your yard and give you some cash for it.  ;)

X2, get some pics up. The intake is the standard rounded keel Berk intake, worth something to anyone doing a jacuzzi/panther conversion, and the 12JC you should get a few bucks for anyway (worth around $200 as a core). Maybe some other stuff we're looking for in that thing.

If this boat is a tunnel hull or something I might hafta kill myself...... :banghead:
